Owner / CEO
Scott started Carter SB after searching for a high-quality skateboard that was sized for his new daughter and was disappointed by the options. Everything was cheap, plastic, or covered in ugly designs. Engineer by day, and skateboard maker by night (and weekends), Scott started Carter SB in 2013. He has taken the last few years to work on and perfect the finish used on our boards today. Scott loves woodworking and is always coming up with new projects. He lives in the Seattle area with his wife Carol and daughter Carter.
Carol handles all of the finances for Carter SB, as well as input on designs and the business. She works in finance for a large coffee company in the Seattle area by day, and Carter SB when we need her to crunch the numbers. Carol was born and raised in Canada, and we only make fun of her a little for her occasional accent. Carol lives in the Seattle area with her husband Scott and daughter Carter.
Final art approvals / Testing
When Carter isn’t skateboarding, she likes crafts, baking, and playing Roblox with her friends. Carter likes to be involved with board designs, and helped steer the direction of our first line of boards. Carter lives in the Seattle area with her mum Carol, and dad Scott.
