Recently Mike surprised many skaters by choosing to wear a helmet every time he skates, after decades of skating without one. The culture of street skating, which he helped define, largely rejects helmets. After some soul searching, Mike decided it was time for him to make a personal change. GET USED TO IT, a project to provide a different perspective on helmets.

PRO TIP: If your measurements are in-between the sizes shown or you’re simply in doubt, we strongly recommend sizing up to the larger size. We have found over the years that customers do better when they choose the larger size.

We use 7 sheets of high-quality Canadian maple. This makes for a lightwight deck, with great pop! Plastic/Cheap skateboards aren't easy to ride. They don't have the curves needed for tricks, and are difficult to steer.

DURABILITY

Our decks are stained so you can still see the woodgrain. We have a TOP SECRET method for graphics application and top coat. Most boards get a layer of plastic, shrink-wrapped, that comes off easily when scratched.
